Doyle_138: Got it to work without hotfix by removing every shader cache I could find (including some weird directx cache through the free space tool included by windows) and then restarting the game every time it hung up as often as needed. You should see it progressing via the loading bar every time you restart.
I have not needed to resort to clearing shader caches but would be my next step. Most times for me a second start has gotten it past the sticky spot and into the game. One time it did take 3 or 4 getting further each time. Annoying but usually it's just wasting about 20 seconds, so not something I'm getting too annoyed about yet. Sounds like a fix is incoming soon.
