In the Ahroprom underground there is no contents in the stashes. Verifying the installation does not fix the problem. No mods installed.

As Jamess3 noted, it also happens elsewhere. Also checking older dead NPCs a second or third time sometimes gives stashes. No guarantee there is anything in it though.

yeah, I noticed that too, for me the whole Ahroprom map has empty stashes, and there are many random empty ones throughout the rest of the game.

dead bodies that don’t give you a stash on first examination can often give you a location if searched a second or third time or even after reloading a save game.

I like to think of it as "Emersion" and that someone else beat me to them, but then it dawns on me that no one else is using this computer except me and that immediately breaks the emersion and I’m left with the reality that I'm sat here in my flat; in my underpants with a laptop burning my legs and that somebody at gog probably screwed up the files!
