Interestingly, my Steam CD keys for the other two games worked. I guess there's just something different about the first game.
Any idea why Shadow of Chernobyl CD KEY doesn't work? Other two worked fine, but the first one says the code is invalid. Sucks that I don't have all 3 games on GOG now, just the other two :(

GOG hasnt recieved every single CD key for SoC ever - try again in a month or so as they may have had yours added into the database by then.

If you're concerned about a possible abuse by someone utilising a keygen to get YOUR free copy, then contact support to see if your CD key has been used: http://www.gog.com/support/contact

Sachys: Some steam CD Keys classify as retail (they'll say so when you redeem them there) - though it also depends on what GOG got given in its database. For all I know they've got the serial numbers from a shipment of melons cassified as retails keys for Witcher 3. O____o
Yep. Not sure if GOG didn't realize a lot of Steam CD Keys would turn out to be valid retail keys or if they were just trying to not emphasize that fact.

both i'd reckon
Soc & CoP worked fine for me, but Clear sky says invalid key. SoC is retail, CoP & Clear Sky are both Steam keys.
I have first Stalker Shadow of chernobyl in version from GPU bundle, there is no CD key (strange I know). But I have second and third one on steam, but it is not possible to redeem my steam keys. Everytime I try it, it says that the key is incvalid. Whats wrong?

You mean you're using the steam key, or the CD Key from your steam version of the game?

- a steam key wont work. at all.

- the CD keys for the games should work - however GOG has only a certain amount on their database thus far. more will be added in time, but if you have a genuine concern regarding your CD Key, then contact support: http://www.gog.com/support/contact

Edit: and if your SoC game came with no CD Key, run it, check the multiplayer - cd key should be there. If it aint there - likely already DRM free

Then why was I able to redeem one of my three?

That's probably the most logical answer, but they haven't gotten back to me despite me giving them images of the CD-keys being mine.

You weren't.
A steam key is along these lines: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX
A CD Key (in this case) is along these lines: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

GOG wont have steam keys in their databases - only CD Keys.

What you will have managed is to redeem the CD Key from your steam version.

- and thats what I was trying to make clear - as many actually seem to be trying to redeem their steam keys (ie from bundlestars).

Whatever you do - DONT reply to the confimation email they send you - each reply puches your ticket to the back of the que. Wait until they've contacted you first.
As it is, right now, they're likely snowed under with similar emails.

Except you're missing what he's saying. Steam has the CD keys attached to the STALKER games on your Steam account. You can find the key through the in game multiplayer for SoC. CS and CoP have a CD key option.

I think you're confusing Steam keys (keys that are intended to be redeemed on Steam) and the Steam CD keys which are attached to the Steam titles already in someone's account. Those keys SHOULD work. Unfortunately, it appears to be hit and miss. My CS key was good. My key for SoC was fine. CoP is giving me an invalid key response. It's weird, but I'll wait to see if it fixes itself in time as they update their database. I can always try support. At worst, I buy CoP again when it's $5 during a sale.

No, thats exactly what I was clarifying - which you would have realised had you read anything.

Exactly. I'm still waiting for a response on this from support but if they're allowing you to redeem your Steam-bought CD-keys for the multiplayer on GoG, I'd kinda like to do that for the sake of DRM free.

And no, Sachys: I'm not confused. I get what you're saying but they ARE allowing you to redeem your Steam bought CD-keys. This isn't "retail" or "redeem on Steam" keys. These are ACTUAL keys used to access the multiplayer, which people around the 'net HAVE clarified as being hit and miss on redeeming on GoG.
