I building a pc with intel i5 4690k, gtx 970 and 16 gb of ram, i know that this will easily max out stalker games, so i would like to know if there are any good mods that will improve the graphics to where i can really use my graphics card
The first thing that comes to mind is Stalker Complete, it has a bunch of visual improvements but also some gameplay changes, though remains faithful keeping the original feel etc. There is a Stalker Complete mod for each of the games.

The visual updates in Complete aren't going to blow you away but they do help. I vaguely remember running into some other texture mod but can't remember if one can install/merge more than one mod at a time.

There's also Absolute Nature though I haven't tried.

Photo Realistic Zone 2 for SoC, haven't tried it either.

Also there's the Misery mod for Call of Pripyat, it looks good both visually and aesthetically though it severely changes the game, for the better personally. Probably the best overhaul for a game I've played.

Also I think you can use an ENB with Stalker, it can add some nice effects like SSAO, bloom etc. Doing a search for Stalker ENB will get you started.

Might be worth looking for a reddit sub for Stalker and asking there, may even be a sub for Stalker Mods.

Unless you have played the games to death already, dont go for complete - they change the gameplay significantly. veteran players now suggest The Zone Reclamation mod instead.

Personally I'm reluctant to make statements like that as they're never true. For example I got Stalker SoC when it was brand new and have completed it a few times, with and without mods, so would consider that qualifying as "veteran" though obviously recommend the "Complete" mods.

Also bogdan seems to be looking for graphics enhancements for all the games in the series and, as far as I know, the Zone Reclamation Project is more of a community patch focusing entirely on patching and tweaking and only for the first game Stalker SoC.
yes i have played every game since it came out and its one of my most favorite series of games, i have finished vanilla versions of games many times as well as with many mods
