It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I can't seem to get this thinbg to work, no matter what, it just stays on the splash logo and/or eventually vanishes.

Tried registry tweaks, directx dll files, compatibility modes, redownloads, reinstalls and nothing. :(

Can anyone have another solution? Someone with the same OS and maybe the same specs as mine (unlikely but giving it a shot)

Win 10 pro with latest updates;
I7 2700k;
GeForce 560ti - latest driver;

Also, log file says it's a problem with access violation.

From what you've said you've tried quite a bit, I haven't tried it on Windows 10 so not sure how much I can help.

Though you did mention an access violation in a log (but not what log, game, windows errors etc). Anyway it might be worth trying to add a DEP (Data Execution Prevention) exception for the game's .exe. If that fails a memory test wouldn't hurt but I wouldn't count on that being the problem.

Incase you don't know how have a look here to get an idea of how to add an exception for a program. You could also try disabling DEP entirely but I doubt that will have much luck if the exception didn't help.

edit...

If the problem persists after trying that it might be worth checking that your motherboard's chipset drivers are up to date, disabling AV, make sure you're not using a trainer/CheatEngine. Though DEP is probably your best bet, also just a thought, but maybe scan your games .exe file with something like VirusTotal.com
