Any other games out there that are like "Spycraft" or "The President is Missing"? Remember that old game on the C64, "The Fourth Protocol"? What all these games had in common was that you acted as a spy, at your terminal, and sifted through data, interviews, pictures, etc. to piece together what was going on. You could dispatch a team of police to inspect a location, use your interrogation skills on a suspect, wire tap, break codes, etc.

So, does anyone know of any other games, old or new, that could fall into this category? I'm not talking first-peron, or even third-person. I'm looking for games where it makes you think you're actually sitting at your computer in Langley, trying to piece together information to solve a crime.

Thanks!

There's an old game that somewhat fits what you're describing, but it's not easy to get a hold of nowadays, though, Floor 13:

There's also Her Story, but that game has less interaction than what you may be looking for:

And even less similar but still in the same vein is Sid Meier's Covert Action:

Edit: Also of interest may be Central Intelligence:

and Cardinal of the Kremlin:

Nice bit of info there! Thank you! I'll research these forgotten gems and see what I can come up with.
No problem, hope you find something you'll enjoy!
Sorry to bump this very old thread, but a game you might enjoy is The X-Files Game (the original FMV game that came out on 7 CDs!). I just recently replayed both Spycraft and The X-Files, and enjoyed them both equally!

You can even find it online on The Internet Archive! http://archive_org/details/X-Files_The_Game_-_WinNT4-Win95

(replace underscore with a .)

Enjoy playing an FBI agent!
