So i was considering picking up a steam deck, and outside of a couple games, all my games already have linux installers so they arent issues. Currently, my decision to purchase one is based on whether or not spore collection (as well as the ability to install mods, specifically the bot parts expansion) will work. I am aware that there is only a windows installer, but I have heard there are things that exist to add compatibility. Do they work to allow me to install and play spore?

edit: I have since purchased a steam deck, got the game installed, did the necessary edits to get it running on steam deck, but galactic adventures doesnt appear to be what loads, its only letting me load the base game, it wont even load up the creepy and cute parts pack.

edit 2: I have now managed to get the creepy and cute parts pack, and galactic adventures working on the steam deck (also works for linux in general, also id post a link but i dont have permission apparently), and the bot parts pack itself works but the fanmade patch that gives bot mouths the sing ability doesn work (and neither do any of my other .package mods)
