Just want to inform the GoG communit here that recently a very easy to apply major patch has been released that fixes the shadows and a lot of other things. You can find the latest releases here;

This is especially cool if you're used to the OG xbox version since it brings over a lot of missing stuff to the PC version.

Doesn't seem to work for me, i get this error "The procedure entry point Createfile2 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll" Maybe because I'm using windows 7?

Works fine. Great to see talented people doing what Ubisoft should have done years ago. I hope they'll get the help they need to get all the other QoL things added to this Enhanced patch.

Hi guys, unfortunately the enhanced version does not work for me under W11. I have been trying everything. I always get a "general protection fault". My message on the Steam board (I have the Steam version) has not been answered yet.
Is anybody out there with a GOG version who could guide me? That would be awesome!!

Close any third party software that you have running in the background. I had the same error message when I had Bandicam running. Once I closed that the game was working fine again.

Unfortunately this did not help. I deleted the Joshua fix as this works with ".asi" files and might interfere with the W11 security functions. As mentioned no issue in W10.
Any other hint is very much appreciated!

It changes way too much about the gameplay for me.
