When I get to the Adventurer Selection menu I have to press the select button (z,by default) numerous times before the game "gets it" and moves to the next screen. It's strange because the rest of the game runs perfectly fine.

I have the same problem on the Adventurer Selection and in the menu, getting out of the selections for language, sfx and music levels etc. requires a lot of clicks. In-game everything is fine.

Same issue here. Confirming player selection requires multiple presses, as does backing out of any meny with 'esc'.

Oh,yes. My system informations.I always forget about posting them!
I ran a Directx Diagnostics and saved the result here:

same issue here, esp. in any of the FULL SCREEN modes.

Most of the time neither " z" nor "esc" register at all -
nor is it possible to navigate up or down the menu hierarchy with mouse-click.

This is a super annoying bug that lots of folks,
also on Steam, have noted - please update Spelunky with a fex ASAP!!!!

yeah, why ANY delay - we paid the same amount for the game here..
HELLO DEREK?? ANYBODY HOME?
We are working to get the updated GOG version up now. Apologies for the delay, and yes, this issue should be resolved in the update.

the patch works like a charm - nice to be able to run full-screen and actually get through the menus ~

well done, sir!
