Baslcially started up the game recently to play, and many things about the game i don't like so im changing some stuff in the config files to make it better.

The landscape is ugly yellow/brown/green, faded bleachwashed. I found out how to turn off the postfx so the game is clear without the ugly cloudly overlay everything has. So that is better. There aren't really many mods for the game, but looks like the config/text files seem easy to change and access.

What im looking for is to see if any of the config - text files in the game folders can be tweaked to make parts of the game better.

1) Targetable items (bodies, etc) where you get a very faint light grey/blue circle around them when you hilight them. I want to make the circles Much brighter and easier to see. Anyone know if any of the text-config files affect the item targetting circle.

2) Lootable chests/containers. As we know many containers, etc have a yellow glow of various sizes , or yellow sparkles, etc. The bad thing is what i said before, the game is already a ugly mesh of ugly yellow/brown/faded green, so the containers even with the yellow "glow" sometimes doesn't stand out very well. There isn't any sort of hi-light key, or such to make finding hard to see containers/sacks, etc easy to see. Looking to see if there are any config/text that can be adjusted to change the color of the "glow" on such items since i doubt there are any files that change the size of the glow. Just changing the color to a bright red, or blue, etc would work wonders.

3) Area lighting. Any idea to change such indoor lighting in cities, etc sometimes in "buildings" or dungeons with the horrible overhead light (or huge window light) that basically overwashes the area while your going through it, making certain rooms just one big flush of light that is very irritating. Any way to tone down this ambient indoor light.

Thats it. I haven't found anything myself to change these things and haven't really seen anything on the internet on config tweaking the spellforce 3 text files other than the easy method to eliminate the fx process to make the game clearer and better.
