Anastaziel: I just installed it and when I tried to launch the game I got an error about dxd9.
I fixed it by selecting More -> Manage Installation -> Verify/Repair.
Try it if you get that error.
Harzzach: I concur. DX9 error at initial startup, then i verified the installion and game starts without errors.
But ... whenever i change something in the video options which requires a render restart, the game shuts down upon restart with the same DX9 error message. I have to start the game again, all changes from before are accepted.
Might need a little bit more polish :)
It wouldn't be the first time Nordic did a remake and handed out a turd sandwich. They screwed up their first attempt at darksiders 2 by what I assume was completely forgetting to QA it at all.
To add insult to injury they left it in a broken state on gog for more than a year after they put an improved version on steam.
I assume them calling themselves THQ Nordic now is them attempting to cash in on the good reputation THQ had before their untimely demise.
