My Problem is as follows. The game will start fine the first time. But if i change the default resolution (1024x768x16) to ANYthing else (including 1024x768x32) i will only get a black screen. Sound is still playing, i can see the cursor and press buttons (blindly) but the whole screen is black. The only way to fix it so far was to manually edit the config.lua file and set the resolution back to mode 2.
Needless to say the game is not much fun this way on a good rig like mine. I tried disabling Crossfire and Catalyst AI and fiddled around with compatibility settings but so far nothing helped.
My specs:
CPU: Intel Q9550
RAM: 8GB DDR2
GPU: 2xRadeon 5770 (Crossfire)
OS: Windows 7 Pro 64Bit
Anyone got an idea?

Ok that was quick. i found the solution. It's my dual view setup. I use a second display as extended desktop. Disabling the second screen solved the problem completely.
Maybe if anyone can confirm this "bug" gog could take this up in the support section!?

Confirmed. Same problem here. It's rather wonky if u have two monitors. Seems to go wonky in full screen with any resolution other than the startup default if u have more than one screen.

I don't use two screens but my card has to monitor ports in case I wanted to. I'm getting the loss of signal to monitor (and sometimes a crash reboot) after about 20 to 60 mins of playing.

I'm wondering if, because my card has this feature, if there is something software-wise, somewhere, that needs to be disabled?Took out my Radeon HD 3650 and put in my nVidia 5200 FX - game works beautiful now.

hello...i changed my game tood to window mode but the window is so small,how do i make it bigger? i changed to window mode because when i tried to load before a black strip slowly
filled the screen until there was only a little bit of the game i could see...thanks

hi im kev1976 did you solve this problem? because i have the exact same issue with the black strip going up the screen.. If i start task manager the black scrolls back down nearly all the way but stops where the icon bar is on the bottom of the screen...Im tearing my hair out trying to solve this
