It's possible to enforce the 1920 x 1080 resolution ?

No chance. This is very old game. It only support 4:3 aspect ratio. The largest maybe 1600x1200.

You can run this game upscaled to say 1440 x 1080 with dgVoodoo. That is a 4:3 aspect ratio.

There are still some strange behaviours (like clicking with the mouse doesn't work, so you additionaly need press ENTER), but yet it somehow works.

In the attachement you can see an actual in-game screenshot of the car choosing screen (had to cut the bottom, because my start menubar was visible in screenshot).

Thank you for this topic, it is much better than playing in 1600x1200 which my monitor doesn't support. However, I ran into a problem. For some reasons my cursor often get stuck in the upper left corner of my screen. Because of this, I can't do anything, and I need to restart the game. It happens essentially when I quit a race and go back to the arcade mode screen.

Any ideas on what might cause this problem?

Hello, I don't have this game, but one of my friends was playing it about a decade (or two? :D) ago, and the game always had problems with the mouse and that was under Windows XP.

The only way, to use the menus was using the keyboard.
The mouse cursor sometimes simply froze or wasn't responding at all.

Got this problem too and there's a very easy fix: DG Voodoo Control Panel -> General tab -> untick "Capture mouse".

Now if only there was as easy a fix for me sucking at this game - even on Easy I can't come in first (or even second, or usually third or fourth) on any of the maps in Arcade mode....

I've got the game running at 1920x1080 in widescreen without any stretching :)

nice looks like its properly integer scaled in 4:3, integerscaler 2.18 both 32-bit and 64-bit, can make a window look fullscreen by putting borders around the image, was trying to get 4k for fun, but may be laggier. I think the original ran at 30 fps
