Since SE was until recently exclusive to Steam, most of the user-made content for it was uploaded to Steam Workshop, but now that it's out on GOG, myself and other addon creators are also uploading to Nexus Mods. You can find the SE Nexus here: https://www.nexusmods.com/spaceengine

I just wanted to let people know that there's a go-to place for this sort of thing :)
That's awesome. I checked Nexus and Steam Workshop beforehand and noticed already, but it is great to see you caring about providing access of this content to a new userbase - most developers don't do that and they also don't communicate much with the DRM-free crowd.

(Bought the game yesterday after fiddling around with the free 0.980 version first and then played around for hours. Thank you for releasing it here as well.)

Oddly as I was digging around the config files to fix my VR issues... I did notice a addon file and looking at it all of them were linking to steam workshop files directly.... curious.

Since I simply copy-pasted the description from Steam for my addons, some links could still contain references to workshop, in fact I just noticed a couple of links with the issue. Thanks
