It's easy enough to find. :)

Go to GOG's gamepage and click on the "Add to Cart" button. It should change to "Checkout Now" in which case click again (at time of posting, this was offered at a 75% discount - just $3.74).

You should now be on the checkout page - supply your payment details (credit/debit cards, PaySafeCard, WebMoney, Skrill and Paypal are accepted) and, if successful, you should get a confirmation page with a link to your GOG account.

Click on this link, and you should be taken to a listing of all your games purchased, which should now include Space Rangers HD (other versions of Space Rangers are available, but as you didn't specify in your original post I'm assuming you're after the latest version).

Click on the game name - a new window should appear. Make sure that English is selected as your language and then go to the bottom of this window where it says "Download Offline Backup Game Installers". If this appears as a button with nothing underneath, click it to get a list of individual files (this is GOG's way of trying to push Galaxy in your face, but you don't need it).

Click on the first 2 files listed (at the time of posting, 4 files were listed but the last 2 are patches for those with the previous version installed) to download. Store them somewhere safe on your system. There is an Extras section with 3 further files (Windows wallpaper, reference card and in-game music) that you can also download if you want - they aren't necessary though.

Once the downloads are complete, use Windows Explorer (or whatever file manager you prefer) to display these files and double-click on the first to start installation. This will include all the necessary files for English.

You should now have a working installation and the added satisfaction of having supported the developers of this game.

But... the developers have been defunct for 15 years now. Even their followup studio closed in 2013.

This game is still being developed with version 2.1.2424 having recently been released (April 16th).

Continuing support and updates this long after a game release deserves respect ... and support.

+1.

Even if it DID take them many weeks to fix the issue with the last few versions (though to be honest, I was probably the only one actually having said issues, though it was still annoying since I couldn't even start the game)... but the important thing is they DID eventually fix it, and added some other fixes as well.

That's pretty damn good support, doing it for this long. Realistically there's not much more to be done for the devs on this title - but there are mods. Even if most of them are still only available in Russian...

Still, this means there's hope someone will finally translate the dozens of text quests that have been in the game since forever but are still Russian only... One day....
The quests are still not translated to this day.

Considering the "you-know-what-is-on," the hope is infinitely thin, not to mention any hope to have it in non-broken-like English. To do it good, a team of both English and Russian language native speakers could be needed, international cooperation. I don't see that anytime soon, it didn't happen in better times either. Will someone brave enough use developer tools to translate it solo? Unknown. Translation is a hard task demanding a great deal of knowledge in both realms. The right circumstances are just not here.

I am technically a native speaker of this language (not by my own choice, mind you). My English needs work, my Russian has rusted. Sadly I am not the one who can help with it.
