Even though SQ4 and 6 are both CDrom games as well as floppy games... Sq5 was only released as a floppy version... then latter it was package in various space quest collections as a cdrom version much latter.
So I am wondering, the version included in this pack.. is it the floppy version (around 6 megs installed), or is it the CDrom version, that should be a larger install and also have more voice overs.. or be a "seirra - talkie" if you know what I mean.
Thanks in advance..

There isn't any speech for Space Quest 5. They never recorded the speech for it, for whatever reason.
Only SQ4 and SQ6 are "talkie" versions.
I think the GOG versions are the same as the CD compilation though.

It was a money thing. The original plan, like Sierra did with a bunch of their "talkies," was to release the floppy version first and let that partially pay for the enhanced CD-ROM. Unfortunately, SQ5 suffered from a low budget to start with and was considered a disappointment upon release, which meant lower-than-expected sales. So it just never got upgraded.
