I'd also like to know this.
I would also like to know if this game has:

- Full Offline LAN Co-Op.

w/

- Cross-platform Steam/GOG Online Multiplayer.

According to Co-Optimus and PCGamingWiki both LAN play and Online play up to 4 players is supported as well as cross-platform support (see confirmation about this on the games store page).

Reading that was the reason I bought the game. Unfortunately, the "Multiplayer" button in-game is just for show (clicking it does nothing), which leads me to believe you need to be logged into Galaxy to get any functionality out of it.

I ended up refunding the game.
Actually I'm hearing online that it's LAN capability requires the internet for some gawd awful reason.
As in the main computer broadcasts it's serving to the internet and that's where the terminals go looking (as opposed to a dedicated server on the company side).
Shame.. was going to be an instant buy if i could dredge up good reviews, but as it stands just anouther stripped down anti consumer hunk of junk a shame considering Games Workshops dawn of war days having so much promise.

Then again the game is also sounding like a dumbed down generic fps rather than having anything to do with space hulk the squad tactical boardgame or it's first pc spin off. Just my 2 cents.

One closer look on the games store page would have told you all you needed to know before buying.
"Please note: The GOG Galaxy Client is required to access online features.
Cross-platform multiplayer is supported."

I'm not 100% certain, but I don't think that was there before. Because I specifically looked for that when it first released. But maybe I missed it.

It doesn't have LAN play. Epic fail.

That is unfortunate.

Thank you for the information.
same, thanks. If I wanted DRM crap I'd be going to steam.

and btw online play is not the same things as multiplayer at all. Online is like WoW, normal multiplayer/LAN/Direct IP is what all games use to strive for till steam. So yea, at least I didn't make the mistake of buying it to discover.
