I managed now to survive for awhile in the game without being wiped out by some pirate ship or lag of resources.
So far i have 100 hours of playtime.
I really enjoying the game and it makes me continue playing even if i spend the whole day on it.

But there are some quirks that i wish that could be addressed.

1) logistics. In general it works fine. But in my case, i accumulated so much resources that my logistic is mostly overwhelmed all the time. So the problem that arises for me is, that the immediate components needed are not fulfilled.
For example for energy. Logistic is busy but i think i can not assign someone for making sure that the energy is uninterrupted.
2) Also logistic. I ran out of building block for the hull and even though i had the resources they seemed to be ignored since they moved other resources to the composter or recycler.
I wish that you can select someone to just take the item you need in that situation.

Also, is stool actually recycled? I am not even sure but that would make sense to me. To recycle everything that can be recycled in space.

Well, that was my input.
The tools to solve these problems should be in the game already. =)

1) Accumulating a lot of resources is a good problem to have, but it also means it is wise to choose more carefully
what to collect and what not to. Just like in real life if you hoard everything you will have to spend a lot of time moving
them around.

Logistics will be overwhelmed and it is simply for the reason of collecting too much, or overproduction, compared to the size of the crew + logistics robots.

Tweaking the priorities in the crew management menu will help, putting everyone to have logistics on highest for a while. But the main problem is usually producing too much or collecting too much.

2) This could be resolved by putting the logistics priority to highest on a refinery (In the overview tab), making sure some crew members have industry on highest, and if still needing more then stopping certain facilities that are continuously producing stuff, like the composter and recycler.

Using "continuous" on production facilities is also usual a big part of the problem, some resource is produced so much that it takes up all logistics time of the crew, and there is such an abundance that there is no need to produce more of the resource. =)

Well, you got a point.
I will refining the duties more carefully.
Though i kind of being amused when i see my dude's doing always not the obvious task first. Like i raised the energy production and had the generators on highest priority but no one seems to care.
Yes, its great to have a lot of stuff collecting but also true that other tasks seems to lag.
So i am still experimenting in a sense. Greed plays a big role i think. You want all resources but this seems not being possible.
doh.

p.s. it did the trick. I have to hide my personal greed in that game.

I had a big fleet of robots doing most of my logistics in a multi ship arrangement.
It's kind of hard to explain, and I haven't played in a while, but you can also set up storage to hold specific things. If you set up storage near the particular manufacturing station, holding the materials, it should speed that process up. Robots will fill it up, and then when the human does work the materials are right next to it stream lining their time.
Tip: Thermal Regulator is not just a heater also an air conditioner my crew always get fever while working in Factory area I set up the Thermal Regulator to -7 and problem solved, ( crew wouldn't put on space suite for some reason).
