It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Lafazar: The game handles scaling in a really weird way. I set it to 1024x768, but on my 1280x800 laptop screen it somehow scales the vertical resolution of 768 to 800 while still keeping the aspect ratio (which would make the horizontal resolution 1066.6666666 pixels which does not make sense). This of course does horrible things to the text. The only solution I have found is to set my desktop area to 1024x768 BEFORE starting the game.

timeslip: You can change that if you like. If you find 'C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\GOG\SoulBringer' (on windows 7; location will be different on xp) there'll be a file called in there. Create another file called '', and add the two lines to it '[video]' and 'ScaleMode=2'. That'll get you an unscaled box in the center of the screen. (Just don't complain if it breaks anything... It's not supported, or tested at all.)
This works. An alternative method is to create a custom screen resolution (in nVidia control panel for nVidia users) that matches your vertical resolution while preserving Soulbringer's fixed internal aspect ratio of 4:3. For example, for a 1920x1080 display I created a custom 1440x1080 resolution. Then I selected it in the launcher and voila: readable text while using most of my display area.

In addition you could still enable ScaleMode=2, then you'll have just black bars at the sides of the screen instead of the title image background as it is by default.

By the way, surprisingly 1280x1024 is the only of the standard desktop screen resolutions that is 5:4, not 4:3, so choosing that distorts the image in Soulbringer (so you shouldn't).
