Basically as the Topic / Subject states, or is that you can only get the patches through steam?
I looked through the thread posted 3 days ago "Where is the Patch?" and in one post it states here it is yet no link, so before I spend my Duckets on this game, I want to make sure I can get it patched.

I am running win 7 x64 Ultimate, 16 Gigs of ram, Galaxy Nvidia Geforce GTX 680, Core 2 Quad 3.0 Ghz, that is if this info is needed.

You don't need steam if you bought a game on GoG.
The Updates usually appear in your game library here on GoG.
If an update appears you get a notification(it shows a number on your "account" telling that a game - or more have received an update).

If you downloaded the game and there was no notification then you already have the latest version available.

Thank you, I appreciate it very much, that is good to know the less that runs in the background the better and less load on my system. I just installed Galaxy 1.1.3 Beta and imported the Witcher Enhanced Edition and it seems like there was an update to the directors cut.
