Hi
I have some weird artifacts and is not the "video effects".
It pops up a few white lights when I looking in different area of a room for example and some rectangle boxes.
Tried to take a screen-shot but did not work out.

I did not notice it before but when I came to the boat area it started. Otherwise the game works perfect for me.
Edit, tested patched version and unpatched version but same problem

Hardware
Intel I5-3470 3.2Ghz
8GB
MSI R9 380 4GB with 15.9 driver

Linux Mint 17.2 Cinnamon
Kernel 3.13.0-37

May I ask which drivers you are using? Also, could you write to our Support department along with your system report that you get when you type "gog-system-report" in terminal :)

In any case, please make sure you are using your graphic card's official drivers and not the open source ones as the open source drivers are NOT supported by SOMA.
No I'm not using the open source Radeon driver, thought I was clear with 15.9 driver.
Using "AMD Catalyst 15.9 Proprietary Linux Graphics Driver" from their website.

How much of the system report do you need? It's pretty much.

Edit
Hi again, I removed the driver and installed it again, it fixed the problem. Maybe something was wrong with the
driver or I missed some packages during the installation before.

Glad to hear that all it took was a reinstall :) Enjoy the game!

I finished SOMA without any graphics related problems using the intel open source driver.

In the case of AMD, the open source driver outperforms the proprietary driver and does not have horrible stability problems and bugs, as is the case for the proprietary driver.

I think Frictional Games should reconsider not officially supporting the open source graphics drivers; how anyone could recommend AMD's awful Catalyst driver over the open source drivers is beyond me.
