Just bought the DL version, installed it, installed the MP patch and the game update and tried to play the game. Then I got the "No Disc Found" error..... unable to start the game.
I'm running XP on a system that can run any game these days without problems. Clearly it is a copyright problem. Any suggestions?

All GOG games are already fully updated to the last stable official version. If you installed another patch you probably screwed up your install. Uninstall and install it again, but don't install the patches.

Just noticed that the version in the game is 1.28.3E which should be the up to date MP version. Thanks.

Is it a stable official version? Have you tried reinstalling the game and starting it clean?
