My experience so far: Great game in that you can take over enemy vehicles, repair and refuel, re-arm your troops with enemy weapons, personally take control of units, use cover and concealment, and destroy most things on the map.
Tough game, though, as you will be out-numbered, there are objectives that you can fail easily on each map, and your soldiers cannot be trusted completely unless you personally command them.
Suggestions: Play it COOP: Each person gets to control a few units each, making it less hectic. Hold down the CTRL key and personally manuever the tanks/vehicles and aim where you want to: With the default pathing and ammo preservation schemes, you'll be hurting, but with manual control you can fire where you know they are or will be, not where they were. Use the Res kits and Repair kits: Your soldiers and vehicles have inventories. Use them.
Haven't played it in a while, might have to dust off my copy as soon as I find it.
