I'm having trouble with Soldiers: HoWW2. I'm in the tutorial, at the firing range. I've equipped the Tommy gun, but the crosshairs are behaving very strangely. When the crosshairs touch the white circle at the center of the targets, they turn to a red "X", and the gun refuses to fire.
I am able to keep the crosshairs up if the aim is at the feet, or the top of the head, but then the bullets are not knocking down the targets.
Is this flaw isolated to the tutorial?

In the tutorial you must destroy the targets by pressing the END key to toggle direct control on/off, or CTRL to toggle it temporarily.
