Hi!
Living in Germany, I had some problems to get rid of the region lock, that comes with this game. It doesnt let you enter the gore menu in the game options, if you start the game in Germany/on a pc with German regional settings. The gore effects of the game will be cut, if you start the game like this (no dismemberment, no ragdoll and so on).

Here is that I did to circumvent the issue:

- Step 1: Change the region setting on your Windows PC to US, GB or something else than Germany.
- Step 2: Install the game
- Step 3: Look for the Soldiere of Fortune2 Multiplayer exe. in the game directory and start it.
- Step 4: Click on the lock-symbol in the game menu, ignore the password and simply press Enter.
- Step 5: Set up a password to your liking, save it and exit to the desktop
- Step 6: Launch the game
- Step 7: In the game menu bring up the console (SHIFT + ^), type in "menu lock" (without the ") and Enter.
- Step 8: Now the lock symbol in the game menu is visable. Click on it, type in the password from step 5 and activate the gore setting to your liking. Done.

Also gehe ich davon aus, dass man als Deutscher die gammlige Version mit Robotergegnern ohne Blut kauft und den Mist mit deiner Anleitung umgehen muss, richtig?

Nein, es ist dann eine quasi halbzensierte Version. Menschliche Gegner, aber geschnittene Ragdolleffekte und Schadenstexturen. Mir fiel das irgendwann im ersten Level auf und dann habe ich mich ein bisschen durch diverse Foren gelesen. Folgt man meiner Anleitung, hat man dann wieder das unzensierte Original.

Bei mir hat es gereicht, den Standord auf Österreich zu stellen.
Damit war das Game uncut und der MP funktioniert auch.
