So, this patch worked on my old laptop, I know I ran this game in a modern resolution around 2020, but now the patch does nothing, and I can't even get the game out of windowed mode.

For the amount of dedicated people who made the original patch, it sucks that it just doesn't seem to work anymore.

SoF+ still works absolutely fine on my end in 2025.

1. Just download sofplus-client-patch-20140531-gog-kb4571756, extract all files into your SoF folder and execute sofplus-client-patch.cmd to create the file sofplus-client-20140531-kb4571756.zip.
2. Move the file sofplus-client-20140531-kb4571756.zip to your Desktop and extract all files into a empty new folder.
3. Cut and paste all extracted files into your SoF folder and overwrite everything when asked.

On top of SoF+ you can also use SoF Buddy for more fixes and upscaled HD textures.
