Hi everyone,
I had been trying to run Solasta on my M1 Max chip for about a year and half without success due to disappearing/flickering/missing geometry. I posted here and on the developer forum without any answer. And then I finally stumbled today on a fix in a thread on Parellels forums about other games and it worked! I'm now running it in 4K at Ultra settings with between 30 and 60 fps depending on the AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution setting, just perfect.
I thought it was worth sharing for others who could be in the same case.
You need to go to the virtual machine configuration and click "Hardware > Boot Order > Advanced Settings > Boot flags", and then add the following text in the "Boot flags" field:
video.untrimmed_dynamic_cbuffers=1
That's it! :)
