The offline backup installers for the most recent patch(es) are broken.

First, there is no patch from 1.4.25b_Final to 1.4.26_Final.

Second, the patch named "1.3.91_Final to 1.4.25b_Final" goes from 57947 to 60230 but then the "1.4.26_Final to 1.4.26b_Final" patch goes from 60226 to 60297... And the "1.4.26_Final to 1.4.28_Final" patch goes from 60226 to 60303... So they are entirely unusable because the installer will simply tell you that your version is newer than the one the patch is trying to install.
There seems to be a version issue even with the Galaxy online updater, it's failing again today, after working for one day yesterday.
There's been an other couple updates, yet the chain remains broken. I'm stuck at 1.4.25b_Final, unless I redownload the whole game and reinstall. Wakey-wakey GoG!
Would you believe this? Version 1.4.30 is up! <sarcasm>Hurray! Re-downloading 22.8 GB!</sarcasm> I guess I shouldn't be complaining. Some companies don't offer any patch period.
Version 1.4.31 now up. Still no way to upgrade from 1.4.25b. I guess it's time to give in and download 23 GB unnecessarily. Oh joy!
Started a ticket on Monday, and so far all I've gotten back was their acknowledgement of the ticket. Who knows if they even acknowledge the details of said ticket.

Thank goodness the majority of games I get from GoG are too old to even receive patches.

acknowledgement was all I got after 10 days and 3 replies on my part. Though I did finally manage to run the offline installer last night, and install the game and my missing DLC.
Alrighty, I've had enough of these GoG monkeyshines, I'm tapping out.

After almost a week of nothing since I had previously e-mailed them word of the problem, and had received GoG's acknowledgement of the ticket, I tried e-mailing them again, pointing out that the problem had not been resolved...Though I did note that they had removed the dead-end offline patch installer for '1.4.26_Final to 1.4.28_Final' as being helpful in causing less confusion and trouble.

Well, after a few more days having passed, and having still received no further response from GoG, neither through e-mail nor this forum, not only is there a 'new' patch ready for download, but they even brought back that very same dead-end patch, '1.4.26_Final to 1.4.28_Final'..that which still has no means to patch up to 1.4.30, 31, or now 32. What-the-ever-loving-F&#% GoG!?

So, fine, lesson learned GoG...No more paying for games that are still going through their patch support life cycle..and that'll be my recommendation to anyone I encounter down the line, whom would speak your name.

Can't say I didn't at least try.
Just for funzies, I FINALLY got this five days ago;

Hello,

Our sincere apologies that your message remained unnoticed for such a long time.
Unfortunately, older offline installation files and their patches will completely entirely and can afterwards no longer be made available. Please note that the download section will contain at most the last 4 to 5 patches for each game. 1.4.25b_Final to 1.4.26_Final is sadly not available anymore.

In order to avoid having to reinstall the game, we would recommend to use GOG GALAXY. After you have concluded the game's update via GOG GALAXY, note that you can afterwards uninstall this app which will have no negative effect and you can continue to launch the game with the exe file from it's directory.

Once again, we are very sorry for the late response and the inconvenience.

Regards,
Matthias
GOG Customer Support"

Unfortunately, being the holidays, I had been too busy to keep up with my e-mails, so my response has probably come too late to prevent my ticket from being closed. But for the record, my letters to them had been full of details as to what the problem actually was in fact, and I even pointed out that there had been related posts made on the game's forum describing the very same problem, including that with their Galaxy download client...all of which they clearly ignored.

Let that be a lesson for anyone in the future running into problems here, that no matter how simple it may be to resolve, GoG will ignore it, and put the onus on the customer to just deal with it.

..So I'm dealing with it as I've already indicated previously...I'd suggest the same for anyone else.
There is now a new version -- 1.4.33 -- but no patch from 1.4.32., and I guess there won't be. So the only way to get a new version is to download the whole game again or use GOG Galaxy (maybe, there seems to be problems with that as well). I used GOG because I didn't have to install a platform to play games through. Now it looks like that is no longer an option (for large downloads at least).

This is very disappointing, and I don't think I'll be buying from GOG again if that is the new policy.
Yeah, I've opened up tickets on this myself to GOG as well that their patch management just sucks. It's as if no-one actually tests anything (which is probably true and very sad). This is the 3 or 4th time at least on this game alone but I have hundreds of game here and this happens constantly.
