I just finished exploring the ruins in the Verdant Valley and collect the loot from the treasurer room. But the "blue square" isn't there at the ruin entrance so I can't leave the area. Have i missed something or is this a bug?

I fixed it by killing all the monster in the Lost Temple area. Why I had to do this, when I could just sneak past them to open the Treasure Room, I don't know.
