First I would like to say thanks to Niels for a great game!

Secondly, I would like to state that I am running OSX 10.6.8 and not the "required" 10.7.0 and that might be part of the problem. I have also tweaked the wineskin wrapper to make it run in window mode using my system-installed version of x11.org instead of the wineskin version. (This was necessary to avoid other in-game windows from blocking important pop-ups and making the game look as if it has frozen, while it was still running.)

About the "bug" when entering a fleet battle and using ships in your fleet to attack, there is a chance of the game crashing, requiring me to quit x11.org and restarting the game. I would guess that it is about 20% chance of crashing every time you use the fleet.

There are also other graphical glitches/micro freezes when using the standard, unmodified, wineskin-wrapper. After my tweaks they are still present but to a minor inconvenience.

Can anyone confirm?

Finally, keep up the good work Niels! It is nice to see how active you are on this forum and with new releases and updates!

------
Suggestions for improvement:
Run the entire game in one window, hence eliminating the risk of loosing focus and the lag occurring while a new window is created.

Minimize the amount of popups after each battle. Summarize experience, loot, droids etc. on one pop-up. This will make it look cleaner.

Make it possible to load a new game from every screen. There are times when you just know you want to reload but you have to wait to the star system-screen. (I think saves should still be limited as it is right now)

When using the "trader" ability display high and low values in each system. possibly marking the highest and lowest value in a different color.

When you destroy an enemy space station during an invasion without first taking a mission, you won't get credits for conquering the system. Please fix this.

Skip the caves under Murmansk. I was stuck for 20 minutes going left/right (Well, you get the feeling of being lost alright) and was finally "rescued" by the game crashing, forcing me to reload a previous game.

I tried to download it an hour ago, but it was only downloading the 1.1.0.7 version, maybe there is just some delay in the servers. I Will report back when i get it! :)

Edit: Download is working now.

Most bugs/glitches/lags seems to have fixed in the new release. However, those of my improvement points not directly related to the glitches still stands. Many thanks!

OT: Is there any good way of keeping your save-games? It would be awesome if the saves were stored outside the .app bundle. Hence, they will not be deleted if you update the app by overwriting the old one (as you do with this one, and most other mac applications)

Well, I wanted to ensure you had the latest build of our Mac version of the game :)

For anything feedback-related on our side (installers and such) why not contact us?

About the .app-related things, I also recommend the Contact Us link I pasted in this post :)
