The definition of a trade route does not limit it to only 2 points side by side, so why does that happen in this game?

Why can't I trade something from the west side of my planets, to the east side of all my planets?
Or if this is possible, someone please explain how!

You can build relay network connecting all planets and structures. You just need proper technology that allows three connections for routes. Then you can build something like "railroad" and connect to it planets and structures. But it will be very expensive - each "gate" will take 1 Cr for maintenance and you will gonna need them a lot. And with every connection its price will be growing to enormous level. But technically it's possible.

I understand that planet could have better logistics and shipping. But this is logic game not simulation.

Thanks for the info.

That doesn't seem logical to me, at all!
I think I"ll just play something that makes more sense.....

Seriously, the way it's set up is nuts!
I can't get approval positive no matter what I do!
This is exaggerated by the fact that SOMEONE set it up to start off negative! :-E
Plenty other players don't seem to share your certain problem, so I'd suggest to look how to change your approach or adjust your expectations, rather than ranting on the game. It's a puzzle game first and foremost, not a realish economy simulator, as TPR pointed out.
