Would it be possible for future versions to show statistics after the game ends? It also would be nice if the game would locally save the scores too.

Definitely! Stat tracking (a stat screen showing you your recent runs and various types of bests) and achievements are going to be added in the coming weeks.
Achievements sound like a great idea, but what I really want is the ability to have multiple savegames.

That sounds good! Also, could future versions of Slipways include a Lab Indicator of some kind? For every lab created, an icon could show up on the UI and for each lab it would tell the user which resource is being studied. That way the user doesn't have to constantly search their empire for individual labs.

If you hover over the science tab in the top bar, you'll see a list of your labs. Also, if you go to Statistics -> Domain you'll see a list of all your planets and labs along with their upkeep and income.

After building a lab, I hovered over the Science tab at the top, but it does not say which resource is being researched. It just says "Structure output +1." Could future versions have the Science tab show the specific resources being studied? I think it would really help players out.

It really should say so now - please take a look at the pic I've attached. Maybe you haven't supplied researchers to the lab before checking it? The lab won't show in the list until they get to work :)

Is that a newer version? Right now GOG's version is 1.0-666.

No, this has been in the game since the beginning, so no changes were made in this case. If you still don't see the list of labs, please send a bug report to feedback@slipways.net - the dev will try to nail it down. In the meantime, the Stats->Domain tab should do the trick.

Yeah I'm not sure why I'm not seeing that. I'm running v1.0-666 of Slipways on Windows 10 64-bit, and it only shows "Structure output." I've attached a screenshot.
