During this Christmas break I received "Sins of A Solar Empire" as a gift on my account so I could play with friends.

When I tried to boot the game I had my first ever encounter with "0xc000007b". I have gone online and tried out several of the proposed fixes with none of them working, so I figured that I would ask if anyone over here had any experience with fixing this error for this game specifically.
