Help! Just bought the 25th anniversary editions of both SS1 and SS2.
Really been enjoying revisiting SS1, but every time I start a new game on SS2, it gets three or four words into the first intro screen, or as soon as I click the skip intro button, and all I get is SCUMMV" has crashed.

Any ideas anyone?

My personal advice would be to uninstall that broken piece or garbage and install the "Legacy" version* which is superior in almost every aspect. ;)

Otherwise: There might be someone in the community able to solve your specific problem, but it's probably best to contact GOG's support about this issue. This might also lead to patches for future players - although in this particular case, that seems very unlikely. Sorry...


* You already own the "Legacy" version. It is included either as a goodie on the Simon the Sorcerer 2: 25th Anniversary Edition page in your library or as its own entry under Simon the Sorcerer 2. (I'm not sure how GOG displays this for users who bought the Anniversary Editions. I only own the original.)
