Whereas Simon 1 deserves a 2 thumbs up, Simon 2 deserves "just" one. Don t get me wrong, this is not a bad game at all. I enjoyed it, but not as much as I did enjoy the 1st episode. Simon s voice acting has changed a little bit. Simon 1 sounded more British to me.
Simon 2 is more arrogant, no, in fact, he has become totally obnoxious ! I enjoyed his sarcasms though. You will encounter many weirdos and you will have the pleasant surprise to see some of the characters that you have met in Simon 1. You will face very interesting puzzles that take place in many various scenes, even though some of these puzzles are tough to solve because they are not very logical. I won t spoil any, but you will know what I mean if you play the game :) That s part of the fun I guess...
Simon 2 is also a longer game, and to be honest, I don t know if it s a real bonus. The last act of the game is quite boring for the most part, and that s mainly why I enjoyed Simon 1 better. Wait until you meet those role players though... you will love that scene, I guarantee it !
Speaking of scenes, they added a useful feature : the F10 key. Indeed, F10 allows you to show up all the items that you can interact with.
