Sorry if this has been asked and resolved already, I can't search the forums for some reason the search button just does nothing.

I'm playing the first game, really want to get into this series as a big Monkey Island/DOTT/Sam & Max/Toonstruck fan, but the mouse is jumping all over the place! A bit inconvenient in a normal game, pretty much hell in a point and click haha.

Has anyone come across this before? It just jumps between the corners.

This apparently is a problem in old version of SCUMMVM that happen in Windows 10.

The solution is to use "Kirben updates"

If you know your way around SCUMMVM you can probably do this yourself.

A more permanent solution would be to contact GOG and make sure they use the correct version in their installers. (if no one does it I'll open the ticket myself when I have more time).

Does it work correctly with ScummVM 2.0? AFAICT, that's using SDL 2.0. Not sure if that Kirben update has any other differences in it.

No idea to be honest. The above is just something I googled. I don't have access to the game at the moment to test it.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried the solutions they have on the support page, but the problem persists. It's not that the game is unplayable, but it's really annoying. I hope they can fix it.

mmmmmmmmmmm.... now a 25th it's also on GOG.......

Apparently there's use a VERY OLD scummVM and the mouse jump around the screen!

Possibly solution it's try to use the daily duild of scummvm...........the kirben daily build.

After that add the games here and try to load the same savegames..............

It's works...........I need only to rename all savestate but it's works.

Pick all files from "Simon1_data_all.bundle" folder....... copied and i have also copied the three files from it folder over the english files.

Load that folder on scummvm and it's works.... the games perfect works.

An alternative........it's try to change the scummvm build on gog release.... but i thinks it's not possible....
