My power station always explodes,how can i stop that?

Power plants must be replaced after a while (I think 50 years?), the newspaper will report about it being old years before.

Wind Turbines and Hydro-electric dams don't explode. Using hydroelectric dams is basically playing the game on easy mode; it's particularly great for beginners since having to replace a 50-year-old power plant is a very easy way to bankrupt a city.
