I amrunning the game on an AMD FX 6300 with an R9 270 graphics card.
When I first started playing the game stuttered nonstop, like a stop motion animation
The time passage in agme was also stuttering badly, as was the cursor and anything else I tried to do
I don't know if it was frame lag or someother issue but I went into video options to see what I could do
Of course, being a 2003 game, I knew I should be able to run max settings without issue
Then I saw the option for "software render" selected and I realized it must be some compatibility or timing issue
I selected "hardware render" to see what wuld happen and the game runs perfectly smooth now
