When I tried to run Silver on my computer, i received this message 'Specified File Name Too Big to 'copen'', and I cannot access the game start menu. I have also patched the file to the latest version. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Had the same issue. I simply reinstalled the game and until now the problem never showed up again. It was after the first save in the beginning so it wasn't that much of a loss. Maybe try to backup your saves, reinstall, copy saves back and try again?
