Hello!

I'm considering buying Silver here on GOG. But before I do so, I want to ask: of what quality is the soundtrack that is included as an extra? Was it generated from the badly compressed music files of the game or from a higher quality source? I really like the soundtrack, so it would be awesome to hear it in higher quality!
It's 320 kb/s mp3, although I have no idea why you are referring to the soundtrack as "badly compressed" - the sound quality is perfect for me.

Well, the music files that come with the game are basically uncompressed WAVE files, so I didn't use the accurate terminology there. But they're merely mono and 22kHZ. It's listenable, but if I listen to the soundtrack on its own outside of the game I would love to have a better option. So, does the extra GOG soundtrack sound better than the music in-game, then the WAVE files that come with the game?

I believe they are using the soundtrack straight from the game without any changes, but I can't know for sure. As for the sound quality, I can tell it's still mono, although I have no idea whether it sounds better than the in-game soundtrack, sorry.
