I read yesterday the original 2004 PC release is missing content from the PS2 version. Does anyone know if this version contains that content?

I'd say no, it is the original 2004 PC release.

I mean I bought it anyway, there are mods for the cut content I was just curious if it was in there already like the widescreen support you can see in the screenshots on the store page. The GOG version of VTM already has the majority of the community patch content in it so I thought maybe they did the same with this repack.
Oh, Are there really Mods which restore the missing haunting?
Im happy owner of them both original releases. Sh4 PC and PS2 versions. Still thinking to buy this as digital version.

No there are not.
This is a patched re-release of the 2004 PC port of Silent Hill 4.
So, is there any extra patch in GOG release or is this just pure SH4 for windows with noDVD fix?

I just want to know if its worth of buy when i already have original DVD.
there are fixes from gog for widescreen support as well as cloud saves.
Yes this is very much a release of the original PC port with some minor fixes. Considering both Silent Hill 2 and 3 also had PC ports I hope they also eventually get released on GOG. They are superior to Silent Hill 4, although Silent Hill 4 is better than many of the Silent Hill games that came after.
It's been updated to support modern widescreen resolutions and all console controllers up to the ps5. It also has cloud saves that lets you carry your progress anywhere.
