Hi everyone, I'm having trouble with my game saves and hoping someone can help.
When attempting to save the game, a plaque in the game shows up "ERROR saving game"

I run Win 11. The game is installed on a D: drive (a different partition from where Windows is)


I did check and tried many things
1) run the pirates!.exe as admin
2) reinstalled the game and the GOG suite
3) tried creating save folders
4) checked the folder containing the game is not "read only"

Nothing seems to fix it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice would be appreciated!
