Like many people playing this nowadays, my keyboard (Windows USB) numpad is bugged for this game. Pushing up, down, left, or right on the numpad, even with Num Lock on, causes me to jump in the indicated direction. Pushing a diagonal key lets me move in that direction as normal, and I can then push an orthogonal direction while holding the diagonal to move in that direction, but pushing Up/Down/Left/Right on their own at any point is an immediate jump in that direction.

Turning Num Lock off causes all of the numpad keys to force me to jump, turning Num Lock back on restores the initial bugged behavior, and pushing Shift along with a numpad key does not change anything. I did try rebinding those keys in the DOSBox Mapper to the block QWE ASD ZXC, which does work, but the movement is stilted and slow - likely because of older PC "auto-repeat" blocks for key inputs.

I am using the DOSBox instance installed through GOG on Windows 11 with no other modifications.
