Installed the latest version of Yitzi's SMAX patch and I'm getting a weird bug where the game will crash instead of letting me select a faction. The game works perfectly if I do Quick Start, it's only trying to choose a faction that'll crash it. When I go to choose a faction, it will instead just display Yang's quote, and lock up. Quick Start forces me to play as the Hive, when IIRC previously it always had you play as the Gaians. I wonder if Yang snuck into my files somehow...

Dont know? However, I guess temporarily you could get around the problem by starting the quick start game then use the editor to change factions?

Also you can create a scinario with all the various game attributes you want.
