Up through WinXP, I could play the various secret project/etc videos by opening them with the player in the same folder. On Win7 though, I find that the player runs, and I can hear the sound, but the screen is just black/blank the entire time. Is there a specific setting that might need to be changed to make it work? (I've tried XP compatibility mode and the disable visual themes/desktop composition/run as administrator/etc options, but none of those made a difference.)

Everything works fine in the game itself - I'd just like to be able to show a video or two to someone without needing to load up a saved game!

Hmm ..., dragging a wve file to player15.exe no longer works for me either. Here's a workaround: Start a new game and open the Scenario Editor (Ctrl-K). Go Menu --> Scenario --> View Movies. Select the desired SP movie and click OK. That still works for me.
Okay, that works. Not quite as convenient as drag-and-drop, but much better than needing to archive a bunch of saved games!
Every video is on youtube in case you ever want to watch them again.
The one's on youtube are low quality. You could probably have this fixed if you know programmer, it's a very small program.
