I downloaded the Mac version of Alpha Centauri, but it doesn't run correctly. Usually, when I try and run it, I get an error message saying that there was a problem with terranx.exe. This made me wonder if I was mistakenly using the Windows version, but I downloaded the Mac installer again and got the same result.
One time, when accessing regular Alpha Centauri, I managed to get into the game. I exited, and my computer crashed. I've never been able to duplicate this, however; since then, I've only received the terranx.exe problem.
Any ideas?
