How do I find the Faction Editor so I can start as the Firaxian's faction when starting a new game?

It's in your game's directory:
..\Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri\facedit.exe (".." is the directory where you installed the game, e.g. C:\Program Files\)
There's also a link in your start menu under:
<GOG.com><Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri><Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire>Run Faction Editor
I guess it's installed with the Alien Crossfire expansion.

What about on the Mac? I found that facedit.exe file, but no dice...
