Hi, just bought the game for my pc after playing years ago on an old Windows 98 machine.

Something that's changed since then is that I've now got dual monitors. Whenever I scroll in Alpha Centauri (Crossfire, haven't tested the vanilla yet), one side of my screen cannot scroll and will move my mouse to my other screen.

What I mean by this is that with AC on my primary monitor (on the right), scrolling left in AC on my primary will move my mouse to my secondary monitor, as though there was no full screen game running.

Is there any fix for this? I know pulling out my HDMI is a "solution", but I'd prefer to keep it plugged in.

Technical:
-Windows 8 64-bit
-NVidia 680M running the latest beta drivers (335.x I think)
-1920x1080 on both screens

Thanks

Are you sure this is a problem with Alpha Centauri?

Maybe you should ask the alphacentauri2.info/ forum.
You can scroll around by single-clicking in the general direction you wish to view. It requires you to do it several times to scroll great distances but you can do that. You can also right click and choose the first option. Doing that will allow you to use the arrow keys to scroll the map. You'll need to right click again and choose to select a unit afterwards. Its a little tedious but it works. Unfortunately, the game isn't designed with multiple monitors in mind.
You can also move the mouse on a line with the interface at the bottom of the screen, that seems to work a bit better than the map portion, when edge scrolling towards your 2nd monitor.
