10.14, after the launch the cursor is visible, but after first click it disappers. Sometimes it works fine till I exit the game, but then the problem returns, cant find a patter when it happens...

Any ideas?

I don't have an answer for you, but I also was coming here to mention this issue. Same problem; no idea why it happens. It renders the game un-playable, though...

Same here. It's pretty much unplayable without a cursor AND no numpad.

Hi,
This works for me:
Right-click on the SMAC app, Go To Content, run Wineskin, in Display Pref. set Fullscreen instead of root (windowed). Then restart the game ;)

Confirmed that this works. Sound and mouse cursor work perfectly. Game is eminently playable. Macbook Air 2018, macOS Mojave 10.14.2.

Not working for me unfortunately. any other ideas? I havent seen the cursor at all in game and sometimes it persists on the desktop until i click on the top menu bar. macbook air 7,2 osx 10.11.

This worked for me too! Thanks very much.

One thing to note is that I had to select "Show Package Contents" before I could open Wineskin.
