What's up with the high system requirements for this game? A retro style gem like this should easily run on a Pentium III with minimal memory.

Hope it's a good a game but I'll wait for some reviews first. I've had issues with "indie" developers not giving a second thought on optimizing their games.

If anyone plays this game with lower system requirements then listed on GOG, please post here. I'm just curious if this game is really that demanding before I purchase it.

Hi, spent about 2 hours into the game so far. Works perfectly on my AIO PC; AMD E1-2500 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.4 GHz.
Like Retro City Rampage this game could run on a real NES this is how well it runs, even on my old eeepc 900 and my eeebox(1.6GHz and Nvidia ION).

This is no Unity Engine game so it will run well. Rogue Legacy for example never ran so well on those systems...it sometimes came to a crawl. Thats not the case here.
